The Easter service will be the King's most significant public appearance since his cancer diagnosis
The King and Queen will attend the Easter Mattins Service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Easter Sunday – Kate will not appear The Buckingham Palace confirmed their Easter appearance in a Tuesday morning announcement, following a video from Princess Catherine over the weekend revealing that she has been diagnosed with cancer.
She was admitted to hospital for planned abdominal surgery on 16 January. At the time, her condition was thought to be non-cancerous – but tests after the successful operation found cancer, the type of which has not been disclosed.
