EXCLUSIVE: Sam Thompson has revealed his unlikely friendship with his This Morning colleague Ben Shephard, as he reveals he was a huge fan of the presenter before working with him
Earlier this year, Sam Thompson joined the This Morning team, regularly hosting the show's This Morning On The Road segment. Since then, the show ITV daytime show has seen Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley join as permanent presenters, something that left Sam slightly starstruck.
He continued: "I saw him at the BRITs and he told me, 'Mate, it’s so exciting that you might be doing little bits on This Morning here and there.' That was really sweet of him; I didn’t think he knew who I was. Alongside his role on This Morning, Sam is set to tour the UK for his Staying Relevant podcast tour, alongside co-host and best pal Pete Wicks.
