The auction was aptly titled Auction on Elvis Presley Boulevard and his childhood home was not the only item up for grabs.Some other items included a 955 Rolex which was gifted to an Presley superfan, Grand Prix sunglasses and a 1969 blue dress shirt. According to Marren, the house remained stored in Mississippi and only the authentic parts of the home that existed when the Presley’s lived there were kept.The experts noticed that striking discoveries were frequently being unearthed throughout the project, so the disassembled parts of the home have been securely stored away in a trailer, which came with the purchase of the home.
Presley’s birth home, just around the corner from the property that was auctioned, remains a historic landmark and public museum site.Read More on The Sun
