Staff at The Dome in Edinburgh were busy working away putting up the illuminated decorations over the weekend.
With still days to go until Halloween - and Christmas some two months away - punters have been left shocked by the sparkly display.
Pictures show the venue decked out with coloured tinsel wrapped around the six stone pillars fronting George Street while nutcrackers can also be seen laid out along the window ledges. The steps are a popular spot for a Christmas photo - but some residents have been taking to social media to say it is too early.
