The third full moon of the year is about to appear in the skies, and there's a chance some people could even spot an eclipse as the Earth's shadow passes across it.
Keen skygazers will want to cast their eyes up towards the night sky this evening, because the third full moon of the year is about to appear.
Here's everything you need to know about the Worm Moon, how to spot it in Scotland, and the lunar eclipse that'll also be taking place in the process. Other names for it include chaste moon, death moon, crust moon and sap moon, after the tapping of the maple trees. It's expected to be visible in the eastern half of Australia, the Americas, the western half of Africa, western Europe, and parts of Antarctica - although stargazers may need a telescope to see it clearly.
