It's incredible to see how life in Scotland has changed since then
Footage showing life in Glasgow back in 1901 has been uncovered that has been hailed as an "amazing historic film".
The video, shared on YouTube by Public Eye Studios, shows an everyday scene on the street back in 1901. Unlike most historical footage, the clip is in colour, making it even more immersive. One of the first things viewers will notice about the video is the clothes of the era, which were predominantly dark in colour and far more formal than what you would see on the street today.
The narrator explains: "The film finishes with capturing a group of employees in a parade, marching at the top of Jamaica Street."
