One day after Foothill canceled its game against the Spartans because of injuries and sickness, De La Salle found another opponent: El Cerrito.
“Immense excitement gratitude for kids on both teams,” DLS coach Justin Alumbaugh wrote in a text to the Bay Area News Group. “They all deserve it.” Foothill coach Greg Haubner told the Bay Area News Group on Tuesday that he had about 25-27 healthy players, down from 44 to start the season.Bay Area high school football: Where to find our complete Week 8 coverage
