Celtic failed to secure a win against Hibs at their bogey ground, allowing Rangers to close the gap at the top of the Premiership to five points. Despite a resilient performance from Hibs, Celtic struggled to create scoring opportunities and were far from their best.

You wondered if Celtic’s exertions against Atletico might have an effect on their display – and they certainly looked jaded early on.
But he felt Hoops deserved the points and was keen to put a positive spin on the result. CalMac said: “The tempo of the game wasn’t where we wanted to be in the first half.
