“John had a huge heart and had truly been adopted by Rossendale folk. He will be sorely missed by many”
Tributes have been paid to a husband with a ‘huge heart’ who provided more than 100 people with jobs and ‘had truly been adopted by Rossendale folk’.
A highlight in the history of the business was having His Royal Highness, Prince Edward visit when the company was 10-years-old in 2005, to present certificates to those who had been there since the beginning. After selling the business in 2007, John perused his hobbies of skiing and following his team, Liverpool FC. He loved to travel, see the world and drive beautiful cars. He went back into business 12 years ago with late son Mike and daughter Sue, offering similar services as before, under the name of Wirehouse Employer Services in Warrington.
