Hairy Bikers star Si King has shared a fresh update following the loss of his co-star and friend Dave Myers as he celebrated his memory alongside his wife, family, friends and those who knew the late celebrity chef within the industry.
It was decided after his death that Dave and Si's latest cookery series, Hairy Bikers Go West, would continue to air in his memory and the final episode of the series left viewers in tears as it marked Dave's last onscreen appearance in emotional scenes. He added: "We had a wonderful evening reminiscing about our dear friend and the room was filled with love as you’d expect – Dave would have loved it. Thank you to all that could make it – you made it very special."
She also shared a picture to her own Instagram page and said: "Tonight we came together to celebrate the life of a good man who left this world too soon. I can’t claim to have known him as deeply as many of the hundreds of people in the room, but I didn’t have to to know his warmth, fun, energy , generosity and sheer zest for life. He was in my Strictly year and we all fell in love with him.
