Gloucester over Middle Township - Football - South Jersey, Group 2 first round

Widman’s third TD of the night, a 4-yard run with 7:04 remaining put Gloucester in front for good. Middle Township answered when Mark Oliver threw a 16-yard TD pass to Shaun Watkins with 2:40 left in the fourth quarter. Middle Township elected to go for two, but the potential game-winning pass attempt was batted down at the line.Middle Township forced a three-and-out to get the ball back and drove the ball into Gloucester territory.
Jake Seibert gave Gloucester, winners of eight in a row, an early 14-0 lead with touchdown passes to Justin Frazer and Rylan Coffigny . Middle Township, seeking its first ever state tournament win, rallied as Remi Rodriguez ran for a 1-yard touchdown and Watkins added a 42-yard TD run to tie the game at 14-all late in the first half.
Rodriguez gave Middle Township its first lead when, on the second play of the third quarter, ran for a 61-yard TD.
