A 12-year-old girl in Federal Heights escaped an attempted abduction on Tuesday morning, police said.
. The victim was able to flee on foot and the suspect also fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect, described by police as a white man and about 5 feet 6 inches tall, was wearing a black hoodie, brown hat and ripped khaki pants. He has a tattoo on his left forearm. Anyone with information on the incident, or on a suspect, is asked to call police at 303-428-8538 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 .
