Driver seriously hurt in crash with utility pole in City Heights [Breaking]
A 27-year-old man suffered a serious injury when his truck struck a power pole in City Heights on Saturday, San Diego police said.
The crash happened about 6:45 p.m. in the east alley of 49th Street near Orange Avenue in the Colina del Sol area, said Officer Robert Heims. The driver, the sole occupant of a 2006 silver Nissan Titan, suffered a fractured right femur. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
