NESN, owned by Liverpool owners FSG, will broadcast games from the British Basketball League in the US
The US regional television network owned by Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group has agreed a deal to broadcast live games from the British Basketball League.
The partnership between the BBL and NESN will bring action from British basketball’s elite men’s competition to the US, broadcasting across the six New England states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Two live games each week will be broadcast, airing one on Thursdays and one on Fridays, alongside a brand-new magazine show, Unbeatable. Fans can also tune in via various platforms, including NESN, NESN+, NESN National, and NESN 360.
“As the CEO of the League, and as an American, I am profoundly excited about the potential these collaborations hold, not only for our players and teams but for basketball fans worldwide.”
