Lanarkshire artist Steven Campbell's iconic painting which was once displayed in Glasgow Airport has been given a new lease of life.

A Lanarkshire artist who had an extraordinary impact on the New York art scene before his passing has had his work brought back to life in a new museum.

She said: “It’s always very emotional to see Steven’s work, but at the same time, it’s really kind of life-affirming for me because for these few minutes.Steven was hugely successful and made an extraordinary impact on New York’s art scene in the 1980s and on his return to Scotland, became a dominant figure in the renaissance of Scottish visual art.
