The All-Ireland chaqmpions men have been awesome at Croke Park over the past month, beating Kerry by 10 points and trouncing Tyrone by 21 points

Mickey Harte is expecting to see Dublin’s “serious operators with two pockets full of medals” in this weekend’s Division 1 decider at Croke Park. He believes Dublin are using this current campaign to send out "a statement of intent" to the pretenders to their throne.

They’ve gone unbeaten since, revving up against Roscommon and Derry - and Harte agrees they look a scary prospect right now. “They do, they do,” he said. “I think that's maybe their way of letting people know that the six-in-a-row team isn’t exactly the six-in-a-row team but watch out what's coming. James McCarthy hasn’t been seen since Round 1 of the League and is managing injuries. And his fellow nine-time All-Ireland winners, Stephen Cluxton and Michael Fitzsimons haven’t appeared in sky blue this year yet.

“It was kind of a precaution because number one, if you put out your best team, there's no guarantee we’d win anyway. But if you did win then this unbeaten run is on in the League. “I think one of the years we won the All Ireland we played more games in Croke Park than we did in Omagh,” he said. “We didn't get too excited about that at all. We didn't mind it. It was good. But I still think it's good to play in Croke Park.

They suffered a chastening defeat by Dublin at Croke Park last weekend, when they were hit for 5-18 and ripped open at will by a rampant home side.
