Holtz still chats with his peers on game days, but once they exit for warmups, he walks to the player’s box reserved for lineup scratches. Despite being drafted with the No. 7 pick in 2020 for his shot, Holtz has only cracked the Devils lineup in four games this season, where he recorded one goal in 42 total minutes of ice time.
