Over the past week, you may have seen your Instagram Stories feed flooded with white people who are “coming to terms with my privilege” through images of designed charts, stacks of books, and suggested charities to support. On Tuesday, maybe your main feed was probably clogged by white women You mean well. You agree, of course, that Black lives matter. But as white women, our next phase of work is owning up to a repost not being enough. They’re performative.
