WWE icon The Rock chose to replicate Manchester United legend David Beckham's iconic look to celebrate Halloween on Tuesday
Manchester United legend David Beckham loved Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's Halloween costume after the WWE icon paid tribute to the former Red on Tuesday.
These factors combined must have inspired The Rock, who is also known for his acting roles in Fast and Furious and Jumanji, to portray the United icon for Halloween. Sporting a Reds shirt with 'Beckham 7' on the back and a long wing reminiscent of one of the ex-midfielder's previous hairstyles, Johnson shared his look on Instagram.
A little later on, The Rock also shared his attempts of replicating Beckham's footballing prowess albeit it did not seem as though United will be signing him up any time soon. Having seen Johnson's look, the former England captain was full of praise and even hinted at his outfit for next year.He also replied to The Rock's post of the image with: "I mean I thought I was looking in the mirror. Looking good man, you might need a bigger jersey.
