The fourth named storm of 2023 is set to hit tomorrow morning, with ‘danger to life’ weather warnings issued by Ireland’s meteorological agency. The warnings cover Clare, east Galway, south Roscommon, Offaly and Westmeath as Debi is set to bring strong winds and heavy rain.
’ He said those living in the areas affected by a red wind warning can expect winds of up to 130 kilometres per hour , adding: ‘We can expect some disruption with travel, some infrastructural issues such as power cables coming down.’ Mr Sherlock said it will affect people in commuter counties as they get ready to go to work.
