The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds and heavy rain across the North of England including Merseyside as Storm Debi batters the country.
The strong winds arriving with Storm Debi could cause disruption to public transport in the region and the Met Office has warned people to look out for tiles being blown off buildings.READ MORE: Get a free National Trust pass worth up to £50 for your family day out this autumn According to the Met Office, Storm Debi has developed because of a very strong jet stream crossing the Atlantic and the strong jet stream is responsible for the varied weather across the UK recently.
