D-FW ranks second for most flexible office space in North America
North Texas now has more than 5 million square feet of coworking, shared office and other short-term rentals.
Only Manhattan has more of the short-term offices than D-FW, according to a new report by CBRE Group. “The office has become a critical player in the war for talent, and flex is playing a large role in this,” CBRE’s Chelsea Story said in the new report. “We’re seeing an increase in flex requests from companies who are looking to scale their workforce across larger markets.
Even during the pandemic, the D-FW area has seen growth in the coworking arena with shared office companies including WorkSuites and Common Desk renting space for more locations.
