A couple returned from hospital with their baby to find a fire had ripped through their home. Sam Brown, 27, and her partner, Phil Abbott, 28, came home with 11-month-old Nova to discover their upstairs rooms had been gutted by a blaze.
Sam runs sensory play sessions called across East Yorkshire but has had to cancel her 'Messy Bambinos' classes while she and Phil deal with the impact of the blaze. The parents had been looking forward to celebrating Nova's first birthday tomorrow - the tot was born at 11.11am on November 11 - but have had to change their plans. Sam said: "It has affected us emotionally and physically.
Sam said: "Grazey In Love set up a GoFundMe page as we weren’t insured and the support has just been beautiful. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped in this awful time of our lives, especially being so close to Christmas and Nova's first birthday on Saturday.
