Andrew Carter says locals are 'horrified' about plans to close Pudsey Civic Hall
A Leeds city councillor has accused the council of "civic vandalism" over its plans to close Pudsey Civic Hall.

However, cllr Carter does not agree with this explanation.
He also said there were still talks with the council about the future of the hall. He said: "They are, on the one hand, still saying to people who might be interested in the building, indeed to myself as a councillor and my wife Councillor Amanda Carter, that they're happy to talk to us about ways to keep the building open.
