The historic fair is expected to attract around half-a-million visitors
Nottingham City Council says "on-street enforcement operations" are part of its plan to crack down on traffic disruption at this year's Goose Fair. The historic fair will take over the Forest Recreation Ground for 10 days from September 27.
When asked about the upcoming fair at the full city council meeting on Monday, September 9, the council's leisure boss said "new mitigation measures" had been put in place. This includes a revised management plan, on-street enforcement operations and other improvements to reduce the carbon footprint.
