Coronation Street's Roy Cropper, played by David Neilson since 1995, is a key character in the long-standing soap. Recently, Roy has been at the heart of a major plotline, as he's been questioned by the police about the disappearance of Lauren Bolton.
"It is reminiscent of that early Roy Cropper when people were suspicious of his behaviour and thought he was creepy. And all this history will be used against him, things that have happened in the past like abducting their foster child.", reports the Liverpool Echo. "Another reason we moved was for excitement. I like to do different things and it's been good to learn a language and get into a different culture. Our son Daniel had left for university and we were in Bristol in a big house and we thought, 'What shall we do? '".
