A family-run butchers in Co Antrim has been named the best in Northern Ireland at a prestigious awards ceremony.
The family-run butchers at the junction of Glencairn Park and the Antrim Road has been owned by Alastair Bonar for the past 30 years, with day-to-day operations run by Alistair, his wife Sharon, and their son Philip.Read more: Infrastructure Minister gives update on North to South Belfast Glider plans
They will now go on to the UK wide Countryside Alliance heats, as the winners from each region in the UK go on to an awards ceremony at the House of Lords in London in June to compete against each other. "We have a good rapport with our customers, and we've built many nice friendships as you get to know everybody."
