Luke Combs accepts his win for Single of the Year with his cover of Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car'. The Country music superstar accepted his highly coveted award announced by World Series winner Corey Seager.
Combs, 33, thanked Chapman 'for writing one of the best songs of all time'. The single, which was first released in 1988 and won Chapman two Grammys, also won in the category for Song of the Year. Lainey Wilson was named Entertainer of the Year, one of five wins she collected. She also won the honors for Album of the Year for Bell Bottom Country.
Wilson also captured the Female Vocalist of the Year award. Chris Stapleton won the honors for Male Vocalist of the Year. Brothers Osborne won the honors for Vocal Duo of the Year. Old Dominion prevailed in the category for Vocal Group of the Year. Jelly Roll was named New Artist of the Year and gave a spirited speech. Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning served as hosts on the evening.
