A college in Glasgow has been hit by a serious infection as NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde work with Public Health Scotland to investigate the outbreak.
Symptoms of the condition include fever, chills, fatigue, vomiting and rapid breathing. It's often a severe and deadly illness which can lead to meningitis. NHSGGC confirmed a 'small number of cases' at the college and say they are working with the educational establishment and PHS to investigate whether any further action needs to be taken.
