Pisces boasts a 4/5 rating on TripAdvisor with reviews describing meals as 'great fish and chips' and 'best ever'
When I heard the news that there was only ONE Lancashire chippy on the most recent list of the best in the country, I was shocked. I have had the pleasure of eating at some lovely chippies across the county and very much expected to see a few more on the list of the UK’s 50 Best Fish & Chip Takeaways,
and has evolved to cater for modern tastes now as well as traditional. The chippy offers delivery, takeaway and dine in options as well as a wide menu offering all the chippy classics.The chippy, in Poulton Road, is clearly also popular with its regular customers. Pisces boasts a 4/5 rating on TripAdvisor with reviews describing meals as "great fish and chips" and "best ever". Armed with this information, I excitedly set my satnav to take me to Fleetwood.
I paid £5.30 for a regular chips, a jumbo sausage and a bottle of Diet Coke, which seemed fairly reasonable to me. Looking around the restaurant, the walls were covered in numerous awards, certificates and ratings of the highest degree, which only fuelled my excitement. The food was that hot it caused my windows to steam up. I tucked into my jumbo sausage and it was nice and tender, no gristle and easy to eat. It wasn't too greasy and not too salty. 10/10.
