Officers believe the two people pictured may be able to help their investigation
The man, aged 70, was left with severe injuries following the incident on Queen Street. Emergency services were scrambled to the scene shortly before midnight on January 5.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are asking for your help to identify two suspects after a 70 year old man was seriously assaulted on Queen Street in Blackpool, leaving him with severe injuries.
