Burnhill Highbacks will be able to become more sustainable as they were able to hire out a shredding truck free of charge from Paper Shredding Services.
A Burnhill community group has been given a donation thanks to South Lanarkshire Council ’s community wish list.
Nicole Kane, group secretary, explained: “We now have an environmental group, mostly young people, who share their knowledge on climate change and how we can help. Access to the shredding truck boosted the community’s sustainable options as well as allowing for the safe disposal of confidential paperwork and related protection from identity fraud or similar scams.
