Two men broke into a property in Co Tyrone, ransacked its kitchen, and stole a sum of money. The homeowner, who was in bed at the time, was unharmed but left shaken. Police are appealing for information regarding the incident.
Two men stole a sum of money after ransacking a kitchen during a burglary in Co Tyrone . Police are appealing for information following the incident in the Fingerpost Road area of Trillick at around 12.30am on Friday, March 15. It was reported that two men broke through the door of a property before ransacking its kitchen and making off on foot with a sum of money. The homeowner, who was in bed at the time, was uninjured but has been left badly shaken by the ordeal.
Detective Sergeant Curley said: “At approximately 12.30am police received a report of a burglary at a house in the Fingerpost Road in Kilskeery. “Two men are believed to have gained access to the property after breaking through a door. “They ransacked the kitchen before making off on foot with a sum of money. The homeowner who was in bed at the time of the burglary was uninjured however has been left badly shaken by their ordeal
