Bob Mortimer has opened up about his 'life-changing' near-death experience
BBC Gone Fishing star Bob Mortimer has shared a chilling health confession. He revealed that he saw a bright light at the end of a tunnel during a near-death experience, which changed his perspective on life after death.
The star of Gone Fishing has confessed that his health problems last year were "worse than my heart period". He's been dealing with rheumatoid arthritis, which was quiet for 30 years before flaring up in 2022. Speaking at the recording of a podcast with Richard Herring in London's Leicester Square Theatre, due to be released in June, Bob said: "Lee was going to be on the show anyway. But I felt a bit bad as some people didn't like it. But there you go, that is the world we are living in, isn't it? ".
"I did a show last week, a fishing show, and there was only two and a half days filming and I did it Tuesday, Wednesday and half of Thursday and I was in hospital on the Saturday. I am sorry I should not have said that should I? It's a real downer."
