The kindness of locals meant more than 450 care home residents received an unexpected chocolate treat
Big-hearted Anne Croucher cracked her mission to provide care homes in Dumfries with an Easter egg for elderly residents to enjoy.
Together with a successful fundraising Easter charity bingo night at Troqueer Community Centre, it meant more than 450 residents in the care homes in Dumfries received an unexpected chocolate treat. The eggs were shared between Charnwood Lodge, Alanbank, Goldielea, Abbey Gardens, Claremont House and Lochduar.
