Waffles for dinner anyone?
Ok, wish I had seen this recipe this morning when I made truly blah waffles! Will keep this for future reference, but had to write back because I think I have never made the perfect waffle because I ate those same World's Fair Belgian waffles that the writer mentions. Nothing will ever compare to that first marvelous bite.
I will make these again and again!I made these waffles without the topping and they were delicious! Not sure if it was the buttermilk that made the difference, but they were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle!Awesome! Maybe the best Waffles I’ve had :) Added some cinnamon and vanilla - topped with Bananas and strawberries - wonderful breakfast. I think leftovers would make excellent breakfast sandwiches.This has been our go-to recipe for waffle Sunday for a while now.
