The Dons boss showed bottle by sticking with the bulk of the side that had been humiliated in Ayrshire on Sunday.
Apologetic Barry Robson was instantly on the defensive as soon as the full-time whistle blew at Rugby Park on Sunday after witnessing his Aberdeen team pasted by Kilmarnock.
And it was the polar opposite approach from Robson as he opted to keep the faith in nine of the starting XI from the trip to East Ayrshire. Dante Polvara replaced Connor Barron and Luis 'Duk' Lopes dropped out for Leighton Clarkson, with a formation shift from a 3-5-2 to a 5-4-1. Ester Sokler, Duk, Barron and Ryan Duncan all came into the action during the second half, three of those men have featured regularly this season while Sokler appears to be the other go-to guy from the subs bench. Most of the others in the squad are undeniably not trusted by Robson and it defies why he would suggest after Kilmarnock, that he doesn't have enough bodies. He maybe does in numbers but not in quality.
Israeli international Or Dadia came to Scotland with a decent continental pedigree at Hapoel Be’er Sheva and was brought in to compete with Nicky Devlin at right-back. Nonetheless, his quality hasn't pushed through enough to earn a place in the first team plans as even winger Shayden Morris was used at full-back ahead of him in the early stages of the season.
