Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive as former Reds sporting director Filippo Giraldi is linked with Italian club Sampdoria
Giraldi has been out of work since leaving Forest in April. But according to reports in Italy, he could make a return to football at the Serie B club who are managed by Italy great Andrea Pirlo.
Giraldi was only at Forest for six months before being sacked by owner Evangelos Marinakis. And he has previously spoken out about his departure from the City Ground. “I accept it though and I’m thankful. I’m not a person who has a bad feeling. I’ve been given a great opportunity. I played my part and did my best, that’s for sure. It still hurt me and I still don’t understand, but it’s life.”
