collection with a characteristically effervescent display. Across the street from the new Rubell Museum in Allapattah, the venue was lined with a rainbow of old-school American cars, and inside, the neon green runway was saturated in graffiti-style logos designed by streetwear legend Shawn Stussy.
Given the show’s pre-Basel timing and the eternal vibrancy of its host city, it was only natural that bursts of color be woven through the collection. Furthering the painterly motif above the neck, 13 of the models had swathes of retina-burning chartreuse on the eyes, designed to peak out from underneath the floral-print berets and bucket hats, designed by Stephen Jones, to futuristic effect.
