Fans on social media have been left distraught after learning that another popular chocolate would be discontinued.
Nestlé has announced further sad news for fans, as another nostalgic chocolate bar is set to be discontinued.
Sales of both have 'steadily declined' in recent years leading the confectionary giant to axe the popular bar. As reported by the Mirror, a spokesperson said: "I can confirm that Animal Bar is also being delisted due to the low performance of the product and a steady decline in its sales over the past few years."
As the chocolate has been a popular staple since the 60s, fans have understandably taken to Facebook to voice their devastation at the loss of yet another iconic treat. The news comes after it was confirmed that the Caramac bar would be axed from stores after 64 years, after an Edinburgh-based bakery that uses the bars in its pastries shared the news on social media.
