American Dad bosses share scrapped movie plans
Weitzman did tease that there is a Halloween special planned, where"Steve and Roger try to save them all but it goes dark". There's a Christmas special in the works as well, titled 'Into the Jingleverse'.

The team also don't have any idea about how to end the final episode, whenever it does come. There's also the fact that the show's canon resets at the end of each episode, even if characters have died, so that might make it hard to come up with something suitably 'final'.The show actually was cancelled about a decade ago by its original American network Fox, but was picked up by fellow broadcaster TBS, which still airs it to this day.
