Supporters are eager to see him out on the field after a scintillating loan spell at Sunderland last season. He will not be able to move before January but will hope to have been back on the field by then ahead of a home Africa Cup of Nations tournament in the new year. In the meantime, he will have a chance of gaining minutes under Erik ten Hag.
