Kids will have two weeks off for the half term
Half term will officially be upon us next week, and whilst it's great that the kids will have two weeks off it can be difficult to keep them entertained. For Nottinghamshire, half term will be beginning on Friday, March 29, with children across the county not returning back to school until Monday, April 15.
From having a go at archery in Sherwood Forest to going on a classic Easter egg hunt, there is something for everyone and at a range of prices this half term. National Ice Centre - Skate into Easter From March 29 until April 14 there will be a whole range of family friendly activities at the National Ice Centre. Including taster sessions in ice skating to ice hockey, as well as table tennis, classic outdoor garden games and the shooting cage, There will also be a Candyland Disco on March 31 running from 2:30pm to 4:30pm where people should dress in their brightest outfits to dazzle under the disco lights.
Tropical Butterfly House - Egg-citing Easter Buddies Trail Just over the Nottinghamshire border in North Anston, near Worksop, you will find the Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife Conservation Park. The site will be holding all sorts of Easter activities this half term, including an Easter Buddies trail where children will need to find all of the friendly farm Easter Buddies to claim a sweet treat reward.
