The highly anticipated sequel to the popular manga series '杖と剣のウィストリア' is set to premiere in spring 2023. The story follows a young boy named Will who, despite being unable to use magic, aims to become a top-tier mage by wielding a magical sword instead of a staff. With the help of his friends, he faces various challenges and obstacles on his journey to become a mage. The season 2 premiere is directed by the director of season 1, 𠮷原達矢, who will also serve as the overall director. New directors joining the team include 中野英明 and 木村暢, while the series composition is handled by 木村暢. The character design and overall animation direction are handled by 小野早香, and the music is composed by 林ゆうき. The production is being handled by BNPictures and Actas in a joint partnership.
