学校法人アジア学院が、アジアとアフリカを中心に13カ国から22名の研修生を迎え、2026年度の農村指導者養成プログラムを開始。有機農業、学びのコミュニティ、サーバントリーダーシップを実践的に学び、持続可能な社会の構築を目指す。1973年の創立以来、「食」を基盤としたコミュニティリーダー育成を続け、世界情勢が複雑化する中で、食料主権と平和的共生の重要性が高まっている。
学校法人 アジア学院 は、世界各地から招いた草の根の 農村指導者 を迎え、2026年度の「 農村指導者 養成プログラム」をスタートしました。本年度はアジア、アフリカ計13カ国から、22名の研修生が参加。約9ヶ月間にわたり、 有機農業 、学びのコミュニティ、サーバントリーダーシップを実践で学びます。「共に生きるために（That We May Live Together）」をモットーに、栃木の地で育まれる 持続可能な社会 への取り組みが、今年も本格的にスタートします。 アジア学院 は1973年の創立以来、一貫して「食」を基盤としたコミュニティリーダーの育成を行ってきました。2026年度、世界情勢が複雑化する中で、 食料主権 と平和的な共生の重要性はかつてないほど高まっています。今年度も学生の背景は、自国のNGO職員、教員、農業普及員など多岐にわたります。彼らは単なる学生ではなく、帰国後に自身のコミュニティを牽引する「変革の担い手」です。研修の柱のひとつは、 アジア学院 が長年実践してきた 有機農業 技術です。那須塩原の豊かな自然の中で、学生たちは自らの手で食を生産し、コミュニティのあり方を模索します。学院では「食べること」「生きること」「働くこと」を切り離さず、一つのサイクルとして捉えています。多国籍なメンバーが一つのコミュニティで生活を共にし、言語や文化の壁を越えて対話を行うプロセスそのものが、平和構築のトレーニングとなります。アジア、アフリカ、中南米などの農村地域から、その土地に根ざして活動する 農村指導者 を招き、 有機農業 を中心とした持続可能な開発とリーダーシップのトレーニングを行う研修機関です。これまでに60カ国以上、1,400名を超える卒業生を輩出しています。 This year, 22 participants from 13 countries across Asia and Africa have joined the program.

They are more than just students; they are"2."Living Learning" through Circular Agriculture A cornerstone of the training is the organic farming technology that ARI has practiced and refined for decades. Within the rich natural environment of Nasushiobara, participants produce their own food by hand, exploring the essential nature of what a community can and should be.At ARI, we do not separate"eating,""living," and"working"; instead, we view them as a single, interconnected cycle. The very process of multinational members living together in one community—engaging in dialogue that transcends language and cultural barriers—serves as fundamental training in peacebuilding.The Asian Rural Institute is a training institution that invites rural leaders who are deeply rooted in their local communities across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. It provides intensive training in sustainable development and leadership, centered on organic farming. To date, ARI has produced over 1,400 graduates from more than 60 countries.
