Zalat Pizza won't be moving in to 1160 Peavy Road, former home of 20 Feet Seafood Joint in Dallas. But its CEO is looking for other locations nearby.Fast-growing Texas company Zalat Pizza will no longer open a delivery shop on Peavy Road in East Dallas,Zalat founder and CEO Khanh Nguyen says the lease came with a “complex legal structure” and that the number of parking spaces wasn’t adequate to do business there.

The pizza joint would have gone in next door to Goodfriend Beer Garden and Burger House and Hello Dumpling, two Dallas-born restaurants that contribute to a packed parking lot in the evenings — and to aZalat would have moved into the former 20 Feet Seafood Joint, a beloved neighborhood restaurant that has beenZalat’s business model is to be a fast-paced, delivery-only pie shop — one where customers seldom come inside. Much of its business is done through Uber Eats and DoorDash.
