Zach LaVine: Would Have Been Disrespectful To Meet With Other Teams - RealGM Wiretap
Zach LaVine signed a five-year $215 max deal with the Chicago Bulls in free agency this summer. That was expected, but there was a point where it seemed like LaVine might meet with some other teams.‘‘I went into the offseason with an open mind,’’ LaVine said. ‘‘Once I was able to meet with Marc [Eversley] and AK and they came to me with everything that I wanted, there was no other reason for me to go outside and look at any other teams.
‘‘I think that would have been, for me, disrespectful on my end because they gave me everything that I asked for.’’‘‘Just had a run-of-the-mill knee scope,’’ LaVine said. ‘‘I feel way better. I’ve been rehabbing, working out, playing, lifting, doing all the good stuff... and boring stuff, too.’’
