Livingston Athletic Club were well represented in the event
Young Livingston Athletic Club members braved atrocious weather conditions at the Scottish Schools Athletic Association Road Race Championships held at Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline.
The recent event saw 1703 athletes competing from primary six to S6 from schools the length and breadth of Scotland. They all dug in regardless of driving rain, managing impressive achievements across 11 races ranging in distance from one to three miles. Running brothers, Finlay and Campbell Menzies led the charge with para-athlete Finlay Menzies coming in first place in the frame running category and Campbell first in the ambulant category. Both attend Balerno High School.
