A thug whose victim broke her back trying to escape his violent clutches has been jailed for seven years.
He was earlier convicted of the abduction and assault of the latter woman to her severe injury and danger of her life over a number of days in April and May 2021 at the property in Lennoxtown. In connection with the second victim, Judge Andrew Cubie told Hamilton:"This involved a degree of control against a young vulnerable woman, who you seemed to have opportunistically taken into your home."You were violent towards her and this culminated in her attempting to escape from a first floor window, which resulted in her breaking her back."
