While introducing a clip of George Conway, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer told Kellyanne Conway he wanted to ask her a “sensitive” political question.Kellyanne Conway was taken aback.Blitzer repeated that he did not want to discuss their marriage, just wanted her to respond to the “substance” of her husband’s criticism.
“The problem with Donald Trump is he always sees himself first. Trump is all about Trump. And that’s why it was inevitable he’d get himself into this,” Conway said in the MSNBC clip. “That’s what this is all about. He was using the power of the presidency in its most unchecked area — foreign affairs — to advance his own personal interest as opposed to the country’s.”But she had plenty to say about Blitzer’s decision to ask her about it.
